Workshops and shared tables
At the heart of Place aux Plantes is the wish to share: the same passion, the same way of looking at plants — as much care as pleasure.
There was a time when every household knew its plants, knew how to gather them, dry them, prepare them. Little by little that knowledge was handed over, until it was forgotten. Taking it back, even a little, is a way of finding some autonomy again: understanding what goes into your cup and onto your plate, looking after your body and your mind with what is close at hand.
That is what we do here. A few times a month, our tables become a workshop: six or eight of us, no more, enough time to get your hands into the plants, ask every question, and leave with what you have made.
And sometimes those same tables are laid for a shared table — a meal where you sit down among strangers, and leave with a few more familiar faces.
Dates are announced here and on Instagram. Places go quickly.
