These terms govern every order placed on this site with Place aux Plantes SRL, rue Lincoln 68, 1180 Uccle, company number 0777.272.975.

Products and prices

Our products are foodstuffs: plants, herbal teas, powders and spices. They are not medicines and they are no substitute for medical advice.

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Delivery costs are added to the order total and are shown to you before you confirm it.

Order and payment

The sale is concluded when you confirm your order and the payment is accepted. You then receive a confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse an order in the event of a stock shortage or on other legitimate grounds, in which case you are refunded in full.

Delivery

We ship to Belgium and France, via bpost. The cost is €8 and delivery is free from €60 of purchase. Times and conditions are set out on the Shipping and returns page.

Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen days from receipt of your order to withdraw, without having to give a reason. You need only inform us by email at bonjour@placeauxplantes.be before that period expires. You then have fourteen days to return the products to us, at your own expense, at rue Van Aa 36, 1050 Ixelles.

We refund you within fourteen days of receiving the return, or of proof of its dispatch.

In accordance with the Belgian Code of Economic Law, this right does not apply to:

— goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
— sealed goods which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection, once they have been unsealed after delivery;
— goods made to your specifications, such as a custom-composed blend.

Legal guarantee

You benefit from the two-year legal guarantee of conformity provided for under Belgian law. If a product you receive is damaged, non-conforming or past its date, write to us: we will replace it or refund you.

Storage and use

Keep our products away from light, heat and damp. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, undergoing medical treatment, or in any doubt, seek the advice of a health professional before consuming a plant you are not familiar with.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Should any difficulty arise, contact us directly first. Failing an agreement, you may refer the matter free of charge to the Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur (Consumer Mediation Service). The Belgian courts and tribunals have jurisdiction.
